As all blogs start: it's been a while. So here's a quick recap of what I've been up to in the past I guess eight months now:

Worked in San Diego at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center doing research for the Navy in human factors: decision making constructs with distributed environments.

OASES Coordinator

Moved into Ward House

Got an aquarium

Started to play tennis (which is why I haven't been seen at places like Henry's very often)

oh, and after all that, I'm supposed to be going to school. but that barely deserves a bullet point, so it's not getting one.

Here are a few pictures of my aquarium setup: (thanks to my boss for giving me his old aquarium. it's awesome)


All the fish. The only one who has a name so far is the Yellowtail Damselfish: Murphie!! The three green shiny fish are Green Chromis, and the striped/zebra one is a Three Striped Damselfish

I just got most of the fish today (had the yellowtail damselfish for two weeks to start the tank bio-cycle)

Here's a nauseating gif of the aquarium being set up. After I did all that work, I thought I'd feel more at ease if I got a real tank stand, and not have to worry everyday about this ikea craftmanship.



So that's what I'm up to. Going to Las Vegas with NEHS Class of 2000 + some TAS people for Thanksgiving (for those of you who think it's weird... we're a group of kids who "going back home to the parents" means atleast 12 hours of flight each direction. so we just get together ourselves... we're family pretty much anyway.

Winter break is Taipei, Taiwan again. :)
